Samsung Releases Galaxy A42 5G New Mobile

After continuing with the Galaxy A51 5G, Samsung launched a new entry-level Galaxy A42 5G that is more affordable. The listing price of the former is 429 pounds (US $500), but the latter is only 349 pounds (about 3070 RMB). Although the price has been reduced by 80 pounds, the Galaxy A42 still uses the Snapdragon 750G mid-range chipset newly released by Qualcomm last month.

Compared with the Snapdragon 730G used on Google Pixel 4a and other devices, the performance of the 750G chipset is slightly improved, but it is still not as good as the Snapdragon 765G SoC carried by competing products such as Pixel 4a 5G / OnePlus Nord. In addition, Samsung equipped the new Galaxy A42 5G with a 6.6-inch drop-shaped OLED screen, a front 20MP single camera, and a rear 48MP main camera + 8MP ultra wide-angle + 5MP macro + 5MP depth sensor. The machine can choose 4GB / 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM storage combination (support microSD expansion), support fingerprint recognition under the screen, battery capacity 5000 mAh.
The Galaxy A42 5G model also provides a black, gray, and white mesh gradient back cover. It will be available in the UK on November 6, priced at 349 pounds (about 455 US dollars). For comparison, OnePlus Nord is equipped with a faster processor, more RAM, 90Hz high refresh screen, and an additional front sensor, but the price has only increased by 30 pounds. As for the Galaxy A42 5G and OnePlus Nord priced at 379 pounds, which one is more popular, still has time to test.
