ThinkPads, Bringing Computer Screens into the "Folding" Era
On September 28th, Lenovo held a global online media communication conference on the new ThinkPad X1 product, at which it released two ThinkPad X1 series computers, ThinkPad X1 Nano and ThinkPad Fold. The ThinkPad X1 Nano is the thinnest ThinkPad notebook in history, with 13-inch body size and a weight of only 907 g.
In terms of processor, ThinkPad X1 Nano is equipped with the 11th generation Intel® Core™ processor and has passed the strict certification of the Intel® Evo™ platform. This means that even if the ThinkPad X1 Nano is thinner and lighter, it has the guarantee of long battery life and strong performance over 9 hours of daily use. The highlight of the interface part is that the ThinkPad X1 Nano is equipped with a Thunderbolt™ 4 interface, whether it is connected to a 4K screen or data transmission has a faster experience. The addition of Wi-Fi 6 and 5G functions also brings a better full-time interconnection and collaboration experience. The screen is equipped with a 16:10 ratio 2K resolution OLED screen, friends who like touch can choose to buy the touch screen version. The X1 Nano screen has passed the certification of Dolby Vision, and with the ultra-clear display of 2K resolution, it will have an excellent display effect.
If ThinkPad X1 Nano is the first dish, then ThinkPad Fold is the main dish of the night. As its name Fold implies, ThinkPad X1 Fold is the world's first folding screen notebook computer, breaking the boundaries of people's perception of products and innovating the way people interact with computers. The ThinkPad X1 Fold uses a 13.3-inch flexible OLED material display from LG, with a resolution of 2K and support for touch, which perfectly combines portability and multi-purpose ease of use. The fuselage uses hinge technology, magnesium alloy-carbon fiber frame, and weighs only 999 grams. When the body is bent, you can easily put it in your pocket and carry it around, just like a book, except that it is much lighter than a book.
ThinkPad X1 Fold also uses Intel® Core™ processors, and the support for 5G also allows it to have a broader use case. ThinkPad X1 Fold belongs to the future of the mobile office. In the second quarter of 2020, Lenovo continued to rank first in the global PC market share. The launch of two innovative products, ThinkPad X1 Nano and ThinkPad X1 Fold, is Lenovo’s answer to consumers’ expectations.
